• Audio Transcription: Converting voice recordings to text
• Smart Extraction: Identifying key information (dates, activities, observations) from notes

When your content is sent to OpenAI for processing:

• Content is transmitted securely via encrypted connections
• OpenAI processes content to provide the requested service
• Per OpenAI's API data usage policy, API inputs and outputs are not used to train their models
• We do not send your personal account information to AI services—only the content being processed

4.4 Opting Out of AI Features

AI-powered features are optional. You can use Manual Entry to add notes without any AI processing. If you use Text Paste, Photo Capture, or Audio Recording, your content will be processed by AI services.

5. Data Storage & Security

5.1 Where Your Data is Stored

Your data is stored on secure cloud servers provided by Supabase. Our backend services are hosted on Railway. Both providers maintain industry-standard security certifications.

5.2 Security Measures

We implement multiple layers of security to protect your data:

• Encryption in Transit: All data transmitted between your device and our servers uses TLS/SSL encryption
• Encryption at Rest: Stored data is encrypted using AES-256 encryption
• Password Security: Passwords are hashed using bcrypt and never stored in plain text
• Access Controls: Row-level security ensures you can only access your own data
• Authentication: JWT-based session management with secure token rotation
• Rate Limiting: Protection against brute force and abuse attacks

AusomeNotes is designed for use by adults (parents and guardians), not children. The Service is not directed to individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children.

8. Your Rights & Choices

You have the following rights regarding your personal data:

You can view all your data within the AusomeNotes app at any time, including your profile information, child profiles, session notes, and provider information.

8.2 Export Your Data

You can export your session notes as PDF reports. For a complete export of all your data, please contact us at the email below.

8.3 Correct Your Data

You can edit your account information, child profiles, session notes, and provider information directly within the app.

8.4 Delete Your Data

You can delete:

• Individual session notes
• Child profiles (and associated notes)
• Provider profiles
• Your entire account and all associated data

To delete your entire account, use the account deletion feature in the app's settings, or contact us directly.

8.5 Withdraw Consent

You may withdraw your consent to data processing at any time by deleting your account. Note that this will result in loss of access to the Service and deletion of your data.

8.6 Opt-Out of Communications

You can opt out of non-essential communications by adjusting your notification settings in the app or by contacting us. Note that you cannot opt out of service-related announcements necessary for the operation of your account.

• All session notes, child profiles, and provider data are permanently deleted
• Backup copies are purged within 30 days

AusomeNotes is operated by Ausome Software Publishing from the Philippines. Our servers and third-party service providers may be located in various countries around the world.

By using the Service, you consent to the transfer of your information to countries outside your country of residence, which may have different data protection rules. We ensure that any international transfers are protected by appropriate safeguards, including:

• Using service providers with strong data protection practices
• Encrypting data in transit and at rest
• Implementing contractual protections with our service providers
